Free Statistical Software

  • Jamovi – Versatile statistical program for an array of analyses, including descriptive statistics, T-Tests, ANOVA, Repeated Measures ANOVA, ANCOVA, MANOVA, Non-parametric ANOVA’s, Correlation, Linear regression, Binomial logistic regression, Multinomial logistic regression, Reliability analysis, Principal component analysis (PCA), Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and various other statistical tests.
  • JASP Statistical Software – Much like Jamovi, but capable of performing more complex procedures
  • Patrick Wessa’s Free Statistical software is another great program. It isn’t as flashy as Jamovi, but it can be used to perform a wide array of analyses
  • Deen Freelon’s ReCal is a fantastic online calculator that computes intercoder/interrater reliability coefficients for nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio-level data. It provides percent agreement, Scott’s pi, Cohen’s kappa, Fleiss’ kappa, and Krippendorff’s alpha.
